| DESCRIPTIONS | Vacuum systems are used to reach and keep vacuum inside the condenser. They also allow the suction of incondensables from the condenser. Gland condensers are used to recover and condensate the steam employed in the flowing of turbine seals. In modern plants, the deaerating system is used to remove all gas/oxygen dissolved in the feed water, so to avoid tube corrosion. | |
